Healthy Weights

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a ratio of weight-to-height and is a useful indicator for health risks associated with body weight. This site includes a BMI calculator, waist circumference tool, and provides follow-up information, to assess your eating habits and level of physical activity.

Waist to Hip Ratio
Research shows that people with "apple-shaped" bodies (with more weight around the waist) face more health risks than those with "pear-shaped" bodies who carry more weight around the hips. Use the waist to hip ratio calculator to see if you are an apple or a pear.

Calcium Counter: Are you getting enough?
